The Symposium on Promoting Strategic Cooperation in Urban Management was held successfully

On the morning of April 2, 2020, deputy director of the Research Office of Chengdu Urban Management Committee, Mao Hongyu, Vice President of Chengdu Urban Management Research Institute, Zhang Fanchang,deputy director of chengdu Urban Management Research Institute City Administration office Liu Yunhong, and their delegation,5 people came to our school for investigation. Dean Wang Yongjie, Vice President Lei Bin, Vice President Lei Xuchuan, Assistant President Peng Chuanyu, Professor Dai Bin, Associate Professor Tang Zhihong and Associate Professor Yang Jian attended the symposium.

Vice President Lei Bin hosted the meeting. On behalf of the college, he expressed a warm welcome to Deputy Director Mao Hongyu and his party. Dean Wang Yongjie introduced the history, faculty, research team and the achievements in urban governance research. Deputy Director Mao Hongyu introduced the positioning, responsibilities and development trend of Chengdu Urban Management Committee, as well as many problems facing the current COVID-19 prevention and control period. Professor Dai Bin, Vice President Zhang Fanchang and the participants exchanged opinions on how to promote the scientific, functional and refined urban management of Chengdu, and had an in-depth communication and discussion on the strategic cooperation between Chengdu-Chongqing double city economic circle and Chengdu,Deyang,Meishan,Ziyang under the background of integration.

In the end, both sides reached consensus on scientific research topics, teaching internship, cadre rotation training, platform building and other aspects to strengthen the institutionalization and normalization of strategic cooperation in urban management.
